Thailand

Thailand offers great variation and we at Norwegian Holidays have a long experience of trips to this tourist paradise, with a focus on vibrant Bankok and dreamy Phuket in southern Thailand

Welcome to Thailand, this lovely favourite that Europeans love to travel to. Again and again.

Few cities are so vibrant and exciting, and offer so much value for money as Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.Bangkok and its atmosphere is definitely an experience in itself and as a tourist there are plenty of things to do. You won’t only find beautiful temples, interesting museums, their own colourful Chinatown, but also incomparable shopping, gigantic stores and absolutely amazing food. An excellent way to experience Bangkok from a different perspective is from above, more specifically from a rooftop bar – Bangkok is the home town for rooftop bars.

Travel to Thailand’s most popular holiday island with Norwegian Holidays, Phuket, a magnet for tourists with offers hard to beat. Discover wonderful beaches, scenic bays, coral reefs, large markets, an intense nightlife and a huge range of fantastic hotels – from handpicked downtown hotels in the best location to romantic resort hotels with the crystal blue sea as the closest neighbour. Phuket is barely 50 kilometres long and 20 kilometres wide, yet it’s still Thailand’s largest holiday island – with a unique and vibrant atmosphere. In our eyes it’s almost impossible not to love Asia’s pearl.

Phuket is located in Phang Nga Bay, which is full of excursions, beautiful beaches and idyllic islands. For example the island Ko Tapu, where parts of the James Bond movie was filmed. The most famous might be Ko Phi Phi, two islands which nature has been depicted in most tourist brochures. You can easily get here with excursion boats from Phuket’s port. But in southern Thailand there is of course much more to discover – everything from fantastic nature to shopping and entertainment.

If you like beautiful nature, great sea and soft beaches, then Krabi will be an excellent option for an extraordinary vacation.
