200 kilometres of winding paths across Menorca is available for those who want adventures! The old monitoring paths, Casmi de Cavalls, are ideal for biking, hiking and scenic horse riding. We recommend that you start your adventure in the area surrounding Cala Galdana!Some of the island’s most beautiful bays, some that are several kilometres long and others that are small and secluded, stretch along Cami de Cavalls and can only be reach by narrow paths or by sea.

Best time to travel

Pre-season or low season is recommended, that is April until October with the exception of July and August. In July it’s 28 degrees in the shade and 24 degrees in the water.

3 hours and 40 minutes with direct flights from Arlanda.

Price Level

The same or a bit cheaper than Sweden, specially for local delicacies. Don’t miss their locally produced cheese, the most well known is called Formatge de Mao and it is delicious!

Get around

A rental car is a great way to discover the island. We also recommend renting a boat for a day; a great way to discover the island’s more secluded beaches and hidden bays.

Tourist tax

At Menorca every tourist is obliged to pay tourist tax, which is payed directly to the hotel. The cost is around 1-2 euro per person and night depending on the hotel’s classification.
