Accommodation Tax

Greece introduced an ‘accommodation tax’ on all overnight stays which came into effect on 1 January 2018. The tax varies depending on the official hotel or apartment classification and the duration of the stay, and it’s paid directly to the hotel when checking in. Note that Norwegian Holidays’s classification of hotels and apartments may differ from the official classification which is the one the tax is based on.

1-2 stars: €0.5 per room or apartment and night
3 stars: €1.5 per room or apartment and night
4 stars: €3 per room or apartment and night
5 stars: €4 per room or apartment and night
