The city of love and romance is easy to love. Paris is also easy to miss when you are not there! One can miss the atmosphere and the vibrant excitement associated with this timeless city while on the flight home. A city rarely satisfies many visitors’ expectations and likings as Paris does.

The list of world-famous attractions is as long as the drink list at a trendy cocktail bar, and the exciting mix of restaurants even makes the mind of a tireless gourmet blissful. The shopping is fabulous with trendy fashion houses side by side with chic boutiques, and you quickly understand why Paris is called the capital of fashion. More treasures are found at the frequent museums with their unique artworks, in such a quantity which can’t be found anywhere in the whole world. Quartier Latin – The Pantheon is considered by many to be the most romantic neighbourhood with the vibrant square St-Michel and the university Sorbonne with its youthful audience as the icing on the cake.

Paris is worth at least one visit when in France. Visit the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. See the world’s most famous painting Mona Lisa and thousands of other art treasures at the Louvre. Take a romantic walk along the Seine, or a scary walk down in the catacombs of Paris. Shop in the fashion district around Place Vendome, or in the gigantic mall Les Halles. Stimulate your taste buds at one of the city’s many restaurants.

All tourists, those who are 18 or older have to pay a fee for their stay in Paris. The fee should be paid directly to to the hotel upon arrival. The fees are:

• 1-star hotel and hostels: 0,83 euro per person and night
• 2-star hotel: 0,99 euro per person and night
• 3-star hotel: 1,65 euro per person and night
• 4-star hotel: 2,48 per person and night
• 5-star hotel: 3,39 per person and night
