On the Bodrum Peninsula there is something for everyone. Historical sights are mixed with paradise beaches, picturesque villages and luxurious marinas. In the Aegean Sea’s crystal clear waters, one of Europe’s most beautiful archipelagos is located, which leads you out towards the Greek islands where Kos is only a short boat ride away.

Bodrum city is where we have the most hotels, and this is the most inviting city along the Aegean coast. This is a real town with a lot of charm and an exclusive touch. A lot of trendy residents from Istanbul like to go here to enjoy a nice vacation. Luxurious shops, chic bars and gourmet restaurants are side by side, and in the pleasant harbour the yachts are anchored up. Down by the harbour you will also find what might be the most famous place, one of Europe’s biggest nightclubs, Halikarnas, where you dance under the stars.

Tip:

• In the bazaar area in the centre of Bodrum you can find a bargain, from tea to gold. Don’t forget to haggle!
• On the Marina yacht club you will have a great evening. Start with a great fish-seafood dinner on the terrace and continue with a drink downstairs to the sound of nice live music.
• Experience the archipelago from a traditional Gület boat.

Best time: Between May – September the weather is the best. Peak season is in July and August, when the average temperature is around 35 degrees.
