London

Endless red double decker buses, charming Soho, an abundance of pubs, futuristic Docklands, exclusive Bond Street, Tate Modern, more restaurants with Michelin stars than New York, the football, the theatres … yes, the list of reasons to visit London can be as long as the wine list at some trendy restaurant.

It’s a cliché, but anyone that is tired of London, is tired of life, and is an excellent way to describe the variety this beloved city has to offer. London has something to offer everyone. You can tell by they way everyone chooses to re-visit the city.

During your weekend getaway to London you can spend some time at Piccadilly Circus, take a few hours and visit classical sights like the Houses of Parliament, Towern, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park, and don’t miss the markets in Camden and Portobello Road or learn more at the Tate Modern. Even the classical shopping in the area around Oxford and Bond Street is a must-do.

If you are young at heart you will enjoy the area around Hoxton and Shoreditch where fashion boutiques pop up as a flash in the pan alongside temporary bars, ancient pubs, Asian restaurants behind steamy windows, thrilling art life and a cool nightlife. Throw away your guidebooks and go for a stroll in this mutlicultural mix. Discover London and make sure to come back often!

Where should you stay?

London is a very big city and the attractions are scattered all over the city. Our recommendation is to choose a hotel based on its distance to the nearest subway. That’s what’s important when you are about to stroll around London.
