Barcelona

Culture, bars and beaches in a fascinating mix of a city; yes it’s easy to understand the attraction behind Barcelona. Nowhere else is it possible to get deeper into the renaissance or in a wine list with no ending at a chic wine bar, and a couple of minutes later lay flat out at some trendy beach. Barcelona has it all and most of it within walking distance, and the motto is usually more is more. There are no less than four beaches in the city.

Getting there & Around

Getting There: Nearest International Airport: Barcelona El Prat Airport is the main gateway, offering numerous flight connections.

Transportation Options from the Airport to the City Center: Efficient airport shuttles, taxis, and metro services provide easy access to the heart of the city.

Getting Around: Barcelona boasts an extensive public transportation system, including buses, metro, and trams, making it convenient to explore all its neighborhoods.

Sightseeing & Activities:

Must-Visit Landmarks and Attractions: Gaudi’s architectural wonders, including the iconic Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, are essential highlights. Stroll along Las Ramblas, visit the historic Gothic Quarter, and soak in the views from Montjuïc.

The most popular beach, Barceloneta, is located in the city centre. The quietest beach is Plaja Sant Sebastia, while the most sporty is Nova Icaria and the most family-friendly Playa Mar Bella. The variety of bars is out of this world and trendier than ever. In Barcelona, you wake up late or don’t even go to bed. The crowd is students living life, anticipating tourists and locals ready to party. Regardless of you choosing a lively jazz bar or a sweaty tech club, the night will turn to dawn before it’s quiet again. When we are ready to go again it’s time to get cultural. What fits better than to be amazed by La Sagrada Familia that never seems to get done. The church started to get built in 1882 and today, a hundred and thirty years later, there are only a few who can discern the completion.
