Getting around

Public transport in Riga is very good. The city is trafficked by both trams and buses, and taxis are available for a reasonable price. In the city centre, everything is also located within walking distance. Therefore, Riga is actually best experienced by foot. Getting a cab from the airport works well, but make sure to get one of the red ones as the white and black ones are considerably more expensive.
